We began promoting Red Gables as a wellbeing centre in 2016 as we believe a lot of what we offer here is related to people's wellbeing.  The vast majority of our tenants and user groups promote or deliver wellbeing services and activities for the local community. Also all of the projects that we deliver promote wellbeing.

These services and activities promote good health, confidence building and personal support. Activities include exercise sessions, advice and advocacy, Garden project and drop ins for those with learning difficulties and disabilities, lunch club for the elderly, counselling, friendship club meetings, complementary therapy and beauty treatments.

We also work in partnership with the Stowmarket Dementia Action Alliance, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Mid Suffolk Mental Health Forum, VASP and Stowmarket Town Council to help support local people in need.

Our award winning Monday lunch club, based in Redwoods is very popular.  We regularly serve over 40 diners aged between  55 - 95 with a 2 course meal

The Garden Project supports adults with mental health and learning difficulties.  They do a wonderful job looking after the grounds of Red Gables
